Flax is 100% stone-washed French linen in a rich clay ochre, made for hot sleepers. The hollow fibres of linen draw heat and moisture away from the skin and breathe much better than cotton, so you stay dry and cool and are not kicking the covers off at 2am.

Stone-washing gives it a relaxed, lived-in softness from the first night, and where cotton wears, linen gets softer with each wash. It regulates temperature naturally in summer and winter.

Umhirða

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or dry on the line. No bleach and no softener. Iron on medium if you want to; we never do.

Why does linen suit hot sleepers?
Flax fibres are hollow by nature, so they draw heat and moisture away from the skin and do not hold it as cotton does.
Is it scratchy?
No. Stone-washing breaks in the fibres before the sheet reaches you, so it arrives soft and gets softer with each wash.
How can I select a size?
Choose a flat sheet about 40–60 cm wider than your mattress, so there is enough to tuck in. Nine sizes cover beds from single to super-king.
How is it washed?
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low or dry on the line. No bleach or fabric softener is needed with linen.
Does the colour fade?
The yarn is dyed before it is woven, so over the years the colour softens and does not wash out.
Is it a fitted sheet or a flat sheet?
It is a flat sheet (1 piece). Use it as a top sheet, or alone as a light layer in summer.
